Loose fed pinkie and hemp on the 4 metre line with a little ground bait brought a few fish, to 3oz. More fish were caught at the 9/10 metre line with the same tactics. Caught straight away with a little punch crumb and loose feed Pinkie on the 4metre whip line. With the presence of Mr Pike and the fish still spawning, it got very hard and you had to search all of the swim to pick up small roach and Perch. A change to match black mixed sloppy with Pinkie brought some more fish. Most fish caught on the drop with very light float and strung out shotting. 2 better Roach in the last 15 minutes took the winning weight to 1lb 4oz second was 10oz.
