Match 1> 01/04/07(The gas work’s Maryhill)

Weather cold over night, slow to warm up, water some colour,
6 anglers 6 blanks what can I say.
Bait tried worm, punch, maggot, pinkies.

Match 2> 15/04/07(the three ways Lochburn rd)

Weather warn all week, some colour in the water.
Lots of small Roach and Rudd and the odd Perch.
Some bigger fish were seen rolling looked like
Carp or Bream, but none caught in the match.
John Smoat won with 1lb 14oz loose feeding
Pinkies over a bed of ground bait with crush hemp.

Match 3>29/04/07(Springwater)

Cold to start warming up later, cold wind, some colour in the water
John Smoat won in a very hard match with 1lb 6oz. This included
a 1lb Roach. The other weights were only ounces and a blank.
Small Rudd, Perch and Roach if you caught.

Match 4>13/05/07(Dullatur left of car park)

Cool all week. Water gin clear. No cover.
Second hardest match of the season (only 2 people blanked this time)
I am not even going to mention the weights, it was a growler
John Smoat won Willie Harper 2^nd Charlie Roberts 3^rd

Match 5>27/05/07(Torrance bridge)

Cool all week. Water gin clear. Lots of lilies
Another growler only one angler caught John Keir
won the match with 2 Roach. The only other fish caught
was by John Smoat who by missing his keep net got the
biggest ragging of the day. WHAT A NUMPTY.

Match 6>10/06/07(Torrance quarry)

Weather warm and overcast, water clear.
Lots of small Roach and Perch.
No big fish Caught. John Smoat won with 1lb 4oz,
to make up for the last matches antics.

Match 7>24/06/07(Briggs sports centre)

Weather torrential rain after a dry start. Water clear.
With lots of weed and floating debris it was
a struggle to catch. John Smoat won with
1lb 9oz of mostly small Roach on Pinkie.
John Keir was second with 15oz of worm
caught Perch.

Match 8> 08/07/07(Lochburn rd)
Weather warm breezy. Water clear.
Willie Harper won with 1lb 3oz
of mixed Roach and Perch.

Match club open + club Sweep>21/2/ 07/ 07 (Torwood9
Weather warm/overcast. 2^nd day very bright and hot.
Charlie Roberts won the match which was held over two days
with a total weight of 10 lb 6oz of mixed Roach Rudd and skimmer bream.
Billy Brownlee had a Bream of 2 lb 12oz while
Willie Harper had 2. 1 at 2 lb 10oz + 1 at 2 lb 8oz

Match 10>19/08/07(Torrance bridge)

Weather, warm, overcast, flat calm. Water coloured.
Small Roach and Perch were caught, with a couple of bonus Roach.
John Smoat won with 2lb 2oz
John Cobley was second with 1lb 6oz
John Keir was third with 1lb 5oz
Willie Harper was forth with 1lb 1oz

Match 11>02/09/07(Torrance quarry)

Weather, cold, overcast, windy. Water clear.
Small Roach were caught, with a couple of bonus Roach and a Perch.
John Cobeley won with 13oz.

Match 13>01/10/07(Torrance bridge)

Weather, Rain clearing, overcast, Water clear and cold.
Small Roach were caught, with a couple of bonus Roach.
Pretty hard going, John Smoat won with 1lb 1oz
John Keir was 2nd with 11oz and Charlie Roberts 3rd with 10oz.

Match 14>14/10/07(Banknock)

Weather overcast warm Water clear
John Smoat won the match with 1lb of small Roach
caught on Pinkie.

Match 15>15/10/07(Brigg’s)

Weather overcast warm some drizzle. Water clear.
Willie Harper won with small Roach for 10oz.
