Match 1> The 3 ways Maryhill. (20^th Apr)

The usual first match of the season, all blanked on a cold day (easterly wind).

Match 2> Torrance bridge at the car park. (4^th May)

With the weather being warm and overcast all week.
The fishing improved from the last match.
JVS won with 1lb 5oz and WH was 2^nd with 12oz
of mainly small Roach and the odd Perch.

Match 3> The 3 ways Maryhill (18^th May)

Willie Harper won the match with 2lb 2oz. It could have been
more but he bumped a lot of fish due to a hook problem.
Most of his fish were caught on maggot, and consisted mostly of Rudd
with the odd Perch and Roach. All came from the far bank on the long pole.

Match 4> The brigg’s sports centre right side (1^st June)

John Smoat won the match with 11oz of small Roach and Perch
John Cobley had a nice Roach about 8oz and some other small
stuff for second.
